Scan5 was founded by Chicago native Dave Rosen.
Dave started scanning family memories out of a storefront in Lakeview in 2018 and has since managed thousands of digitizing projects for families and organizations.
Led by Dave, the Scan5 team aims to provide the highest level of service to the local community and beyond.

About Michael
Michael J. Gerrity is a Chicago-based artist and media preservation specialist with nearly 20 years of experience in the film, television, and theatre industries. He specializes in digitizing analog media and has worked for clients like The Field Museum, CTA, and The Innocence Project.
A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Michael brings an artist’s sensitivity to preservation, with creative credits including No God, No Master, American Idol, Taste the Revolution, and The Open Studio.

Dave is a Chicago native and the founder of Scan5.
Dave opened his first scanning company in 2018. He has since managed thousands of digitizing projects for families and organizations such as The University of Chicago, DePaul, Northwestern, UIC, Wilson Sporting Goods, and Ace Hardware.
He has over 25 years of business experience, holds a bachelor's in Economics from Illinois State University, and has been featured on CBS News and WGN.
