Arriving at our location

Scan5 is located in suite 502-B in an office building with an elevator. If you would like any assistance handling your items, please call us at 773-934-0982 after you park. A member of our team will meet you at your vehicle.

Dial 067 on the callbox to be buzzed into the building.

There is free street parking on Ravenswood Ave, Irving Park Rd, and the surrounding neighborhood. In the rare event that no street parking is available, please call 773-934-0982 and we will direct you to the loading dock behind our building.

Step 1: Packing Your Items 

You can give us your items in boxes, bags or containers.

Step 2: Estimate and Approval

After we inspect your items, we will email you an itemized estimate for your approval. You also have the option to approve the project at the time of drop off. Once we have your approval, we will label your items and place them into our inventory. From there, your items will enter the queue for processing.

Step 3: Processing Your Items

When the time arrives for your items to be processed, you will be notified that your project is now in progress. Processing times can vary from a day to a month , depending on the size and scope of the project. Don't worry, we keep you updated every step of the way.

Step 4: Completed Project

When your project is complete we will bill your card on file. We will email you instructions for accessing your digital files.

Step 5: Pick Up Your Original Items

You can schedule a time to collect your original materials from our office unless you have already selected the option for return shipping.

Local Pick Up

About Local Pick Up

Scan5 hires 4 Star Courier for local pick ups. A member of their team will collect your items and deliver them directly to our office on the same day. Pick ups are usually free of charge. If your project doesn't meet the requirement for free pick up, we will email the estimated cost of the pick up for you to approve.

Step 1: Packing Your Items

You can provide your items to the courier in boxes, bags or containers. They will handle your items with care so don't worry about packing everything up as if you were shipping it.

Step 2: Estimate and Approval

We will notify you when we have received your items. After we inspect everything, we will email you an itemized estimate for your approval. Once we have your approval, we will label your items and place them into our inventory. From there, your items will enter the queue for processing.

Step 3: Processing Your Items

Step 5: Receive Your Original Items

Your original items can be returned to you via UPS shipping or by 4 Star Courier.

UPS Prepaid Shipping

About the Shipping Process

Scan5 offers prepaid UPS shipping labels for our customers to use.
Shipments are usually free of charge. If your project doesn't meet the requirement for free shipping, we will email the estimated shipping cost for you to approve.

There is a 50 lbs weight limit for any box that you send to us.
Please ship your items in a small or medium sized box. Multiple small or medium sized boxes are OK. Do not ship any large boxes.

If you ship a large and/or heavy box (over 50 lbs), your credit card will be charged for the full cost of shipping.

Step 1: Packing Your Items 

Pack your items tightly and securely in standard shipping boxes. UPS does not accept shoe boxes or boxes with loosely packed items. Inside each box, be sure to include a sheet of paper with your name, phone number, and email.
